“We need to notify you that 29 churches have followed the due process outlined in our bylaws to bring a motion forward at FNC 2025. The motion is: “To elevate the Fellowship Position Statement entitled ‘On the Gender Issue in Pastoral Leadership in Fellowship Churches’ (formally adopted via vote at National Conference in November 1997), to the status of a ‘Fellowship Policy Statement’ (see By-law section 15.1 (d)).” The adoption of this motion will make this statement binding on all member churches.
This motion will be brought forward on the Wednesday morning of FNC 2025 for discussion and vote.
Any delegates not physically able to be in attendance who signed up for our virtual option for the Affirmation of Faith motions, will be able to also join for this motion virtually.”
