January FEB Gender Update Letter
As a fellowship of local churches, we are writing to you as a steering team from the ‘97 motion from FNC 2025 because eight faithful sister churches in Fellowship Pacific (FEBP) are facing immediate removal from the Fellowship for advancing our Fellowship’s convictional complementarianism. This is a matter of urgent concern for our shared Fellowship...

Over Sixty Ontario Churches Urge FEB Pacific to Not Suspend Churches
“We are writing to you as fellow members of The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada. It is our understanding that you have suspended one church in your region and placed at least ten others under the threat of suspension. Now that Fellowship National has begun a two-year process to address the issue of...
2025 National Convention ’97 Gender Motion Transcript
The real question that needs to be answered is whether or not we are going to practice and enforce what we already claim to believe. Are we going to stand on God's word and be united in a common confession, or will we be driven off course by the winds of changing culture? If we complementarian delegates vote against the motion today, our vote will only help egalitarian practice to become further entrenched and normalized. If this motion does not pass, understand, we will likely lose at least 10 complementarian churches in Pacific.
Response to FEB Prairies Letter
“We agree that the Gospel is foremost; however, secondary matters, like baptism, bind us together as a movement. In fact, many would see complementarianism as more important than baptism, being a creation ordinance. It is good to appreciate our theological history and church autonomy; however, our theology is not just a historical reference point but...
FEB Prairies Communication about the ’97 Motion
“As mentioned in Fellowship Pacific’s October 16, 2025 letter, Fellowship Prairies defeated the following motion at our Regional Convention in May of 2025, “Be it therefore resolved, in accordance with 1 Timothy 2:12, Fellowship Prairies will only recognize churches in which their elders (or pastors or leaders) who preach to or otherwise have authority over...
Tim Stephen’s CBMW Article on the Fellowship
“One of the questions I have is this: Will the Fellowship follow the Christian & Missionary Alliance, which now ordains women pastors? Will steps toward a “soft egalitarianism” be tolerated by the national convention? It must be remembered that typically practice changes before policy. That is, one church then a growing number of churches adopt...
Derek Devries Open Letter to FEB Pacific Over NWCC Suspension
“This letter is a sincere good faith effort to engage these consequential conversations. The offer presented within it is sincere; please take up this request to provide evidence that NWCC is worthy of the public condemnation that you have disseminated against them. New West Community Church is a sister church, and it is my desire...
